Have your say on proposals for a new river crossing between Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf

TfL is investigating the feasibility of providing a new Thames river crossing between Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf for pedestrians and cyclists. This project is one of a number of possible new river crossings for London which are intended to improve cross-river connectivity. These proposed crossings would consist of new public transport, vehicle, pedestrian and cycle links.

Ramblers is supporting the proposal for this to be a bridge, with pedestrians and cyclists segregated.  The bridge will link to The Thames Path and open up the opportunity for new circular walking routes, as well as linking the two communities on opposite banks.

Please take a few moments to respond to the consultation and to support a bridge which is segregated for walkers and cyclists.  The closing date is January 8th.
