The resurfacing of the path by the New River round the west reservoir at Stoke Newington is now complete. There are still warning signs to say that the path is closed but there is nothing to stop walkers and cyclists using the route.
The upgrade is not quite complete as shown by the red plastic fencing on either side of the path - so it is possible that the path may be closed again at times while the works are completed.
Any diversion signs have been removed. If you find the way blocked, the answer is to take a diversion just before the Woodberry Down Childrens' Centre to reach Green Lanes via Springpark Drive where you turn left.
