South East Walker

South East Walker newspaper is produced three times a year by a small team of volunteers.  It's distributed to Ramblers members across the South East with the glossy Walk magazine and contains more local news and updates about what volunteers and groups are doing across the region. The latest issues are displayed here and are available for download.

The new issue of South East Walker is out now! 

As ever, the newspaper - produced entirely by volunteers - is packed with information about walking in London and the South East - including The Thames Path and its 30-year anniversary this year. It also includes recent successes and new priorities for our Capital Ring, London Loop and Green Chain Walk project, along with updates on what the local Ramblers groups in Inner London and across the region are up to. This issue also contains a number of obituaries, including for the wonderful Des de Moor, who did so much for walking in London over so many years.

The February issue of South East Walker is out now - packed with information about walking in and around London.

In this issue you can read about: the re-opening of The Thames Path between Richmond and Kew; the new public spaces now open along The Thames in London as a result of the super-sewer; the return of beavers and white storks to East London - as well as the latest on our Lonodn Loop, Capital Ring and Green Chain Walk project, and plenty about what our various groups have been up to.
