The Greenway is closed at Manor Road bridge for 18 months from the beginning of September.
There is a diversionary route for pedestrians via Manor Road, Pond Road, Richardson Road, Leywick Street and Abbey Road. The diversion is currently posted on signs (though one is very high and hard to read).
The diversion route is well signed and adds about half a mile to the route.
