A walker has let us know that there are diversions in Crystal Palace Park past the dinosaurs in as a result of the substantial project to regenerate the park. The renovations are due to be completed in the Spring.
The site plan (see below) shows that the 'Dinosaur route' shown on page 11 of our Capital Ring section 3 guidance should be outside of the closed area. (This route is the same as that of the Green Chain Walk).
Our guidance does suggest leaving the designated path to enjoy a better view of the dinosaurs and that alternative is within the closed area.

There is also the option of taking the northerly route through the park as described in our guidance. However access to the terraces is closed off as part of the regeneration project.
The main entrance off Thicket Road is also closed and there is a very slight diversion up the road and into an alternative park entrance.
