The start of the footpath after crossing Vicarage Lane is blocked by the boundary to a building site. Walkers need to travel further down the Vicarage Lane; about 50 metres where there is an opening identified by a metal pole stuck in the ground and fly tipped rubbish. You can rejoin the walk where this path crosses the original London Loop route after about 10-15 metres.
