A glance at the other news items on this site will have alerted walkers to the widespread effects of recent rains on the Loop footpaths.
A further alert comes today from a walker reporting that section 13 of the Loop is very waterlogged at present following all the recent rainfall. Many of the open fields are boggy making walking difficult. In particular, the paths through Bishops Wood towards the Village Green by the Olde Greene Manne Pub are completely waterlogged and churned up.
