A walker has reported that he completed section 23 at the end of November. The path north of the Ingrebourne Valley Nature Discovery Centre was flooded for perhaps 100 yards.
It was possible to get by on the grass – but it was pretty waterlogged.
The map on page 4 of our walk guidance for this section shows an alternative route to avoid flooding in this area.
January update
A further message from walkers in early January reported that this length of path was still impassable because of flooding.
March update
The dry weather in march means that the flood has abated so that the normal path is walkable.
