Section 18 is walkable at the moment so long as you are wearing good boots. There is plenty of slippery mud so care is needed - especially on the steeper slopes.
There is extensive flooding along the path through woodland parallel to Bury Road on the approach to the Scout Association HQ. (See paragraph 1 on page 7 of our walk guidance for this section..)
Fortunately it is possible to divert to the right on a variety of tracks through the woodland that eventually lead to the farm track where you turn right to get to Bury Road.
