The works at Riverside Gardens in Erith at the start of Section 1 are almost complete. The paths within the gardens are open so that it is no longer necessary to stick to the road.
The original Loop infomation board is now installed beside the path where you enter the gardens from the High Street. From there you can follow the path to the waterfront and then along the gardens overlooking the river before turning back towards the High Street at the end.
The Robinson Crusoe commemoration sign has also been repositioned on the path near the river.
