We have now had four reports from walkers who have encountered large dogs roaming the paths off leash and out of control around the Pinnerwood Studio estate. The dogs bark and act in an aggressive manner which can be very scary.
Adults seen nearby (maybe the owners) have been unconcerned and taken no action to help.
At least two people have contacted Three Rivers Council and submitted reports of antisocial behaviour involving animals. Another walker has made an online report to the Met Police about these dogs, having been pursued for some distance by one of them while walking this section.
Our walk guidance for this section does describe an alternative route to avoid the Pinnerwood field that is often very muddy. This alternative should avoid the dogs. It is shown on the map on page 6 and it is described on page 8.
