Croydon Council' 'Trees and Woodlands' team has responded to the report in 'Fix my Street' as shown by this email received on 2 November: "Thank you for your report of the fallen tree. Unfortunately, due to the recent storms, we have had to prioritise the most urgent of fallen branches/trees and this has not been dealt with as quickly as it otherwise would have been. Nevertheless, our contractors will be on site today to clear the obstruction."

A walker along section 4 of the Loop from Addington Hills came across the fallen tree as shown in the image below.
At present walkers have to crawl under to get past. There is no easy way to get round th obstacle.
The location is on the map on page 8 of our walk guidance. If walking from Addington Road the fallen tree is about 50 yards before crossing Peacock Gardens.
